For the less hipster, and more mom and pop there’s the Currumbin to Tugun Beach Playground Walk. Inspired again by Weekend Notes. So all that’s required are walking shoes, scooters, bikes and strollers. Urban mums know to pack these things. Next, the great trek, and the inevitable pauses in-between checking out the playgrounds. Starting at Len Wort Park, 29A Teemangum Street, this one is a small park. Take the path across the bridge to Kropp Park. This park is bigger. That’s right, we’re building anticipation. There’s lots to enjoy here, and toilets. Continue across Flat Rock past the Tugun Life Surf Saving Club. Worth noting. Travel past the club to O’Connor Street. There are two parks here, reputedly better than the last two.
