Located in nearby Burleigh Heads, David Fleay Wildlife Park is set in secluded bushland, showcasing the beautiful landscapes of Queensland’s protected areas. It is also home to a variety of native wildlife. At David Fleay you can view animals in surroundings similar to their natural habitat and enjoy daly ranger-guided wildlife shows.
Wildlife that you may see at David Fleay includes eagles, brolgas, jabiru, owls and cassowary, plus crocodiles, kangaroos, dingo, koalas, tree kangaroo, snakes, lizards, gliders and butterflies. They are also the only park on the Gold Coast where you can see a platypus.
